Another new year comes...

Salam ... Happy new year... welcome 2011

Every year, there will be a great celebration to celebrate the coming of another new year.. yet another tremendous experiences and great things will occur.. Tonight, in Toronto there will be a concert on the new year eve at Nathan Philip Square beginning at 10 pm.. Well, I'm not going to say about the concert but more to review my accomplishment back to the year of 2010...

A lot of good and bad things had occurred in the year of 2010.. Back to January till June, it was my second sem at Taylor's for my Icpu programme..really work hard to score and secure my place here at Uoft.. even though my marks are quite good in the first sem, it will not deteriorating my spirit to study well in the subsequent semester.. yup I manage to achieve my target and that is the most importing thing I think.. and also during the period of time I struggled for my english literacy test, IeLtS and others assignment to be done for my 70 percent course work..

Then, I went to BTN camp at Tanjung Rhu, Sepang. Feel like going back to hostel again with the environment there.. since we had to wear the same uniform all over the time and also regarding the rules we needed to obey.. A vast number of new things I acquired primarily about Malaysian constituencies that still are hard to understand and to explain yet it's always being the issues in current political world...

The post BTN period will be my preparation to Toronto, Ontario.. a place that situated thousand of miles from Malaysia... the country that I did not expect to go but it's all God's Almighty works..nothing to be questioned about...Right now I realize that Canada is a great place to study and living.. the day of sep 1 was the most saddest day for me as it was my flight departure date..and it is my first time boarding a plane too... never been in plane before...

So right now, I succeed in finishing my first sem here in uoft.. another 7 sem to go until I graduate... so the journey is still far far away and I have to work hard for it.. for the sake of the people or the tax payers who I use their money to study and enjoy my life here.. the result will be out probably next week or next two weeks.. wish me luck..

Till next post..

winter break...yeah..

Salam,

The end of physical chemistry test means the start of my first winter break in toronto... no us visa to go to NY and no plan to go anywhere in Canada...just stranded here in toronto and waiting from my colleagues from all of part of Canada to have vocation here... but for sure I have my new activities to be done during my break... ice skating yeah.. Just bought one.. so far I've been skating twice here ....my skills are improving as time goes by... with the help of youtube I try to learn new steps.. its totally like a baby who learns to walk.. I've fell down on the ice floor so many times.. but that will never let my determination down... There is one time, I hit my face on the ice floor and it starts to bleed without my consciousness, I just continue skating until one of my friend notices it... what a freaking experience for me... I am hemophobia( fear of blood)

After this, my apartment will be filled by 14 of my friends.. how crowded it can be.. sleeping on the floor or any place they can sleep in entire space of my apartment... just wait and see.. how nice it would be... It would be a great time for me and all my friends..

The end of first sem examination means the result will be out soon.. I just did my best and let everything to Allah... hopefully I can get the dean list.. God Willing... but if I don't get it right now.. never mind, I'll try my best next winter term...

Study mood..

salam...

It's common right to be busy as long as you are student... unless you have graduating but still you'll be busy to find a job or if someone who has already a job... the job duties will make him or her self busy.. so here you can see how many times I write the word busy...hahaha... To be straight forward... student life in uoft is busy and hectic if and only if you cannot manage your time wisely and you are unable to concentrate in the lecture... the easiest example is feeling sleepy in class and fall asleep but you can see that everybody around you are so passionated to copy all of the lecture notes and they think that you are smart enough for sleeping in the lecture hall... and if someone doesn't concern about the uni portal.. they will be shocked to see all of a sudden there is a dozen of works to be accomplished... so for anyone who concern about my welfare here... I'm still alive with a lot of assignments due date are coming...but still have time to open fb and writing in the blog.. Frankly speaking, for my first sem in uoft..it is still ok in term of chem engine... there is no lab report to be done... just attend the lecture.. do the homework and sit for the tests and quizzes... but in future .. chem engine is totally disaster..(based on what seniors experiences) but you and I are different right... somehow.. I still need to focus on what is my intention of coming here... so gud luck everyone for next week triple quizzes...haha

looking few years back

Good evening Toronto, good morning Malaysia....

I seem to be unrealized that now I am going to turn 19 this nov.. not 20 yet..next year perhaps if I am still alive... Well, next week my second sister is going to sit for her first biggest exam for elementary school.. upsr.. It has been 7 years since I sitted for the exam.. like her.. Eventhough I've experienced the upsr and others exams as well... I still cannot teach my sister well.... and I confess I'm a bit strict and sometime aggresive...haha... like a disciplinary teacher teaching his students with a thin 'rotan' in hand... it is the memory that I'll remember the most... Hopefully, Fatin Farhanah bt Shaifuddin you can show me and the most importantly to 'ayah' and 'emak' that you can do well than me.. than go to the best boarding school nationwide... nevertheless it is sbp, mrsm, sekolah agama..or others....

Good luck my dear sister...

New place, new people, new experience

Peace be upon to all of you..

It may be quite late for my first post here in Canada specifically 5 Ross St, Toronto. Well, living in new environment requires more effort and determination in order to endure all of the hardness... So far, the day after tomorrow is Hari Raya for the people in Canada but for Malaysian it may be earlier than that. To mention here, this is the first time being away too far from home and celebrates the eid without my family. Don't be sad... There is still much work to do instead of thinking the comfortableness of being at home or even the delicious mom-made cooking.. This semester I take 6 subjects; calculus 1, linear algebra, physical chemistry, mechanics, ethics in engineering and also eng strategy and practice.... The timetable is not quite busy as there is neither tutorial nor practical this weeks... Plus I just need a few steps to reach my lecture hall or classes.... If anybody concern on how I live here in term of foods and others... don't worry the shop is just right away of my house and there is also a lot of biryani house or middle east restaurants here that I can eat.. so

Last but not least, I wish Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Maaf Zahir dan Batin kepada semua yang mengenali diri ini... tunggu tahun depan untuk salam perantauan... for my family members enjoy your great moment together to the fullest eventhough I am not there but remember that I will always be in your heart forever...

Salam..

masak?

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullah, Salam 1Malaysia, Salam Sejahtera, Salam Perpaduan

Masak nasi guna microwave. Biasanya biarkan beras td terendam dalam 1/2 jam baru msk so that beras td cukup kembg dan nasi jadi lembut yet berderai. M/wave yg ade function utk masak nasi, so tekan aje keynye and the microwave does the rest. Klu microwave biasa x penah try la pulak, tp rasanya boleh. Try buat dalam 10 mnts dulu, klu masih berair/ kurg masak tmbh lagi 5 mnts.

Steam fish ….style org cina dari DARSITA

Dalam mangkuk (special utk microwave) letakkan ikan yg dah di cuci bersih, letakkan garam, lada sulah (putih), minyak bijan, sedikit ajinomoto (kalau tak makan ajinomoto ..letakkan sedikit gula), hirisan halia dan hirisan, kicap soya (cair) sekadar mewanakan (dua tiga titik), sesudu besar minyak goreng.Peram selama 15 minit.

Hiriskan daun bawang (spring inion) bukan daun kucai ya …

oyster sauce – dua sudu
bawang putih – seulas – tumbuk
bawang merah – dua biji – tumbuk
halia – 1/2 inci – tumbuk
fish sauce – ikut rasa ( guna garam pun ok)
kicap sikit

campur semua bahan, perap ayam dalam 10-15 mins
masukkan dalam pinggan, cover dengan cling filmmasukkan dalam microwave, masak for about 5-10 high ( masa selalu ikut kuasa microwave).

PENGAT PISANG METHOD KUKUS

buat macam biasa kita nak kukus dalam pengukus tapi time kurang dari conventional method of kukus.
Kalau buat lengat pisang dalam 8 inches container will take about 8-10 minutes.
So roughly for lepat pisang mengambik masa lebih kurang sama.

Kalau nak try, jangan terus guna high power. Start with medium/med high dulu. Lepas tu kalau rasa kena tambah power/time boleh tambah. Jangan lupa dilayurkan dulu daun pisang tu. Just soften it guna microwave pun boleh….tak perlu taruk air tu.

Bila lepat tu dah dilipat-lipat dalam daun pisang, susun atas microwaveable container.Tutup bekas tu dengan cling film.
make sure cling film tidak menutup terus keseluruhan bekas.

12 Ramadan's tragedy

Boom! Bang! Bong!

That are the sound we'll probably hear every time when we are performing our 'terawih' prayer at any nearby mosque or 'surau' in our residential area... It was very annoying to hear that sound every night.. Well, I can say that the selling of illegal items - the fireworks are still high as people can still buy it anywhere actually... Eventhough, there is vast enforcement and strict inspection at borders to prevent the smuggling of fireworks into our country, the unscrupulous people are still succeed in smuggling it to our country... In business, the product is not there if there is no demand from customers... in this case, a lot and a lot of malay's youngster are so fascinated to play the fireworks especially as the days get nearer to 'hari raya'. The festival is not complete and enjoyable without the presence of fireworks..

But, recently even a few years back, more and more terrifying incident occurred regarding the explosion of fireworks that cause serious damaged and injured or for a greater extend it can cause death... Anybody who reads today's newspaper would probably know about the explosion of illegal fireworks store at Terengganu yesterday that cause the death of a 6 years boy who was thrown away as a result of the great impact of the explosion in the store... others victims also experienced severe injuries and cause them to have permanent disabilities to their hands and legs.. so guys don't let this incident happen again or you'll be the main headlines of tomorrow's newspaper..

Semangat Kemerdekaan

Peace be upon to you,Salam Merdeka, salam 1 Malaysia...

Currently, we are now in one of the historical month as it means a lot to all Malaysian... The independence day.... without independent, free from any colonizers, we all are not able to achieve what we have right now... peace, freedom, harmony and a lot more advantages.. And of course it was a great workload from our ancestors who strive their life in order to defend their beloved countries.. So as the younger generation, what we need to do right now is to keep our supremacy on our land, don't let the past events happened again as the outsiders were looking forward to intervene in our business... The main important thing is to keep the harmony life among all races in Malaysia without ruling out out country's constitution.... About this year theme, it is all about unity among races in Malaysia and also the transformation that we are going to make in order to make Malaysia the perfect and peaceful place to stay.. Nothing much I want to say because 1@malaysia advertisements are everywhere..

Maybe I'm so passionate about my country as I'll be leaving soon.. 3/4 sep...

Motivasi Diri

hunting for goods

4 sep is still far but the day will still come... the most important thing is my friend and I are the last group to fly to Canada. There are pros and cons about the date. Maybe if the date is a bit earlier a day or two, it is more suitable as I can keep myself ready a couple of days at there before the class starts on 7 sep... and I will also miss the orientation week, as it starts on the same day of my flight day.. that is on saturday.. as the journey will take a day, more or less, I'll be arriving at toronto, on the following day, sunday. So, it will be very very tiring journey and I should settle everything about my bank account and also to adapt to the new surrounding and environment in just two days before the class starts on tuesday. I also do not know where are the classes will be held and also a lot of things.. so prepare for the worst.. well back to the title, I need some items and equipments before going there as it is a new place with difference culture and weather... for the time being, I just bought a new biggest luggage I ever had in my life.. it costs more but I can bring a vast number of things together with me there.. hopefully with some raya's cookies.... next I'm looking forward for any thick clothes at any available store.. it in not advisable to bring any real winter clothes from Malaysia as it will cost more.. and of course for the electrical appliance especially my old school laptop.. I just buy one.. pretty cool, it can be used at any places in the world not only in north america... well that's all for this time..

exhausting but exciting moment...

Woke up at 2.30 am after sleeping at 12.00 am, it was a tiring journey from kampar to subang jaya.. but I still have to strengthen my body as I want to attend the glorious graduation day ahead.. so after the graduation, I knew my result.. although it was not what I expected.. but I still thankful for maintaining the result.. my average is just like last semester... another point to note, I want to congratulate all of the award achievers.. looking at them, I feel regret for not striving hard especially during the 1st sem.. after all , I have settled all of the visa forms.. so nothing to be worried about.. just wait for the email from high commissioner canada for the medical checkup... and still I need to stay at casa subang a couple of day more before going to BTN Camp..

bye...bye icpu

last day of school is full of sweet and great memories among the students and teachers... people will come and go... everything is not permanent in this world.. maybe some of us will be kind of sad to recall every good moment we have.. but.. life should be continued afterward.. even though we will stay far apart.. we should keep in touch forever...

tomorrow, the final exam starts .. begin with english, chemistry, and calculus... that is the most important thing right now.. many of the teachers said that icpu syllabus is quite easy compared to other pre-u courses.. so, we'll surely excel in the exam with our continuous hard work and also the bless from our parents and the Creator... insya-Allah..

another obstacle out...

Well, the result of osslt is out... and the greatest news is all scholars pass the exam... so another requirement for graduation is fulfilled.. so the last obstacle is the final exam....

Saturday, May 29, 2010

exam mood..

most of the students undergo foundation, preparation, and others have finished their exam...

but.. icpu students still have a week before going to the exam hall... to determine the remaining 30 percent of overall mark instead of the 70 percent for course work.... so.. since it is the last semester in Taylor's and probably a couple of weeks before flying to canada.. hopefully ... we will do the best for it.. by hook or by crook we must grab as much mark as we can to meet the sponsorship and university requirements..
everybody can fly....

bye...bye..valed_ _ _ _ _ _ _ n

congratulation to Koay Keat Yang... for being chosen as valedictorian for this semester... I'm so proud with his achievement in academic and also extra co-curricular activities....

one of the attraction

Well , I missed one of the important ceremony among ICPUan .. If I'm not mistaken.. majlis solat hajat for ICPU students... for preparing themselves mentally and spiritually to face the exam... and to clarify here.. our main intention of studying at any educational institution is not for gaining high salary and others.. but to increase our iman and taqwa so that we can be a good mukmin in this world through what we learn in class...

Currently I'm at my beloved hometown, Kampor, Perak mali.. haha.. not to far from Subang Jaya.. I can even go back home weekly by train.. So, I just received the uoft offer letter, I want to read it and then make a wise decision on which universities I intend to go..as this Monday I have to send the university preference form to taylor's placement center..

By the way... through the offer letter, I notice one of the letter regarding the scholarships given to me.. like a bolt from the blue... I got a $5000 entrance scholarship.. haha.. what a lot of money... but it still cannot beat U of A scholarship..$10K... but there is still a condition that I have to fulfill ... I have to score at least 90 percent average... but then.. compared to mcmaster scholars ... for 90 to 94 average.. only $2000 given... so still have time to make decision...

10 hari meraih undi..

Till this moment, there are 10 more days for ICPU students to choose and eventually accept their university offer. Nobody, want to be alone during their university time.. Friends are very essential as they are the one who will be with us, not our 'mak', 'ayah', 'opah', 'atuk' and others. So, most of the students say that they will choose the university based on the number of students who are going to go there as well as the university performance, prestige, rate of job employment, etc.. . The 1o days also looks like a campaigning time for some of us to attract, persuade, or influence most of our friends to go to the certain university.. It can be seen as way someone vote during the general or by election..the decision that will determine their future..

Here, I want to clarify a campaign "jom pegi uoft"....hahaha

Menghitung Hari

Sekian..

kekalahan....

Once again, Malaysia needs to wait for another two year to win the thomas cup.. A bit frustrated in heart looking our national players who seems not giving their best or all out during the game.. compared to the two other games before: games with Denmark and japan... On paper, it is written that China's players are much more better than our players.. Also, I can say that our country lacks of young players to replace our senior player... Hopefully, more and more talented players can be found.. so that we can stop the domination of China in badminton sport.. After all, I hope that Indonesian team will beat China this Sunday... hahaha...

uoft

looks like.. I got an offer from my first choice university. Now, it's the time to decide which university I want to go.. Mcmaster or Uoft.. both has their own potential and benefits if I go there.. but still I have to make a decision.. It's a tough decision that will determine my future.. if I choose the wrong path.. I hope I'll not regret at the end of the day... So far, if I go to any one of the university, the education or syllabus may be quite the same.. but the environment may be the key point to different both university including money matters...

Since, it is my first choice, I intend to go there.... but there is still much more time and space to decide till 28 May.. the final date to accept the university offer through OUAC... Many of my friends feel a bit excited upon receiving the offer...haha.. some of them said at first that they want to uofa and others.... but the 'aura' of uoft is able to persuade them to go to toronto...

I'm also hoping that more and more of my friends will change their mind and choose uoft.. so that we can make a big malaysian 09/10 ex-icpu students there....

For Mcmaster, all the first engineering students undergo an Engineering I programme, in which they do not specify their specialization yet till the 2nd year.. and also Hamilton city, which mcmaster is placed.. is not really hectic like toronto...so that the living cost is much more lower especially on the accomodation, foods & etc... (remind me if I'm wrong).. before I forget, there is student pass there .. for bus I think...

On the other hand, I got an offer for chemical engineering degree... yet chemical engineering is my first choice followed by track one, eng sci , electric and lastly mech.. So, there is no general engineering for 1st year student.. maybe it has it's own advantages and disadvantages... Moreover, Toronto is a big cities.. the biggest city in Canada I guess... so it may be a little bit busy.. The main concern about this university is mainly due to its reputation as the best engineering school in Canada and ranked 8th among the North America universities.. Imagine if can go there.. my degree will be prestigious ...hahaha... and for a greater extend it will be easier for me to be employed to any multinational competitive company.. exxonmobil ..perhaps or others that I don't really know.. that will pay the best salary for me.. opps.. I forget.. I need to serve for my country... nevermind... I'll never forget who is sponsoring me.. if I go there... (too ambitious hope)

Last but not least....

which one to choose ??

VALEDICTORIAN....

This morning, before starting my chemistry class, once in the blue moon Ms. Nadeline called me.. "where is Ahmad Zahir"... Yes.. I said.. I'm a bit frightened on that time.. The main thing playing in my mind was that I've done something wrong or didn't pass my literacy test... But, something unexpected happened, she said "You are chosen as the list of nominees for VALEDICTORIAN.. On that time, what the heaven is VALEDICTORIAN... After while, after a brief explanation by Nadeline, what I understand, I am chosen for a long standing candidates to give a speech during incoming graduation day...most likely as the student representative...

Here I provide the definition of the word 'VALEDICTORIAN'

A student, usually one who has been the most successful in a particular class, who makes a speech at a special ceremony at the end of a school year - Cambridge Online Dictionary

But.. there is only one student to be chosen from 10 candidates... So, am I able to compete with them??.. plus I am too lazy to join any extra curriculum activities as I think that it is not very useful for Canada university admission compared during my secondary school time.. as I join one of the leadership society such as prefect and others just to get the government scholarship... Basically, it is not a new experience for me to give a speech in front of the crowd as before this I'm responsible to be the chairperson for daily ceremony and other.. But it may be slightly different as there may be canadian audience from ontario education department.. Last but not least, I just accept all of the decisions with open heart...
Hope to achieve that title with greatest effort in the coming test and ISU assigment.. Arigato Gozaimas

You're Still The One....

Last week, I watched the American Idol show...hahaha.. quite affected and influenced by reality show lately eventhough life is getting tight and busy with a lot of work... So for that time, the contestants had to sing a song from Shania Twain's song... Her song and melody was so great and I'm attracted with one of the song, You're Still The One on that night.. Let's enjoy the song..

UAE

Just now in my malaysian studies class, En. Khairy asked the students about UAE as the administration system of that country is just the same to the monarchy constitution system (raja perlembagaaan) practiced in Malaysia.. In Malaysia, 'sultan' or yang 'dipertuan besar' will rotate every 4 or 5 years to become the 'yang di-pertuan agong' and it same goes to UAE.. Basically, UAE has seven states known as emirates ; Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm al-Quwain, Ras al-Khaimah, and Fujairah...

Here I just want to list others information about UAE:

  • Arab official language and Islam official religion
  • has seventh largest oil reserves in the world
  • Member of Arab League,UN, WTO, OPEC
  • Abu Dhabi is the largest emirates while Ajman is the smallest emirates
  • The politics are based on federal, presidential & elective monarchy
  • Has three branches of administration system; legislative, executive, judiciary
  • Practice liberal laws contrast with Saudi Arabia
  • Sharia laws are practice in family laws, inheritance and certain criminal acts
  • Human rights are legally protected by the Constitution of UAE :freedom of speech, religion, movement etc
Actually, there is insurmountable of information to talk about this region.. I think it is enough as it is difficult to extract the point from the passage.. Anyway go this open source link to know more about UAE..

freedom of speech?

This morning, near the KLCC park, there was a demonstration organized by Writers' Alliance for Media Independence (WAMI). They said that all of the main media streams in Malaysia are against freedom of speech and were controlled by political parties. They protested the interference of political party in main stream media, so they demonstrated by reading the main stream newspaper as you can see above upside down. They said that, they can see the messages in the newspaper in different point of view or in easier word, they didn't trust and respect any main media stream in Malaysia. Fortunately, there was a brave and courages group of NGOs who also participated in the demonstration by reading 'harakah daily' and 'suara keadilan' upside down. These groups of NGOs also wanted to protest against all of the sensitives and slanders news brought by these newspaper.

Based on my point if view, they cannot blame all of the main media stream totally especially the main newspaper such as utusan , berita harian and others that against the freedom of speech. If we go through any of the opposition newspapers, all that the readers can find out are mostly slanders and accusation to the federal government that for me are totally craps and just aims to influence people negatively. For example, zambry kadir cases, the opposition newspaper accuse him as the terrorist when he had a visit to US and after all it was totally wrong and for the recent by election, there was a lot of propaganda and sensitive issues just to raise people sympathy . After all, both sides try to defend their political survival but in different attempts and ways. Here, I want to stress that in this globalization world, we as the educated and new generation people should use our mind to filter and differentiate any news and information whether it is true or not, not matter which newspaper we read, opposition or mainstream medias. Till next post.....

mosque usj 2..gsc

A lot of thing happened this week... and it was totally fun.. Begin with a trip to summit gsc cinema until the 5 hour community service at usj 2 mosque.... A few days back, the iron man 2 was available at any nearest cinemas in malaysia, so a total of 25 gentlemen of icpu took the precious time to release their tremendous stressed of having a lot of test and assignment by watching the movie at mid night and ended about 2.45 am.. I'm so sorry to my roommate for not telling him that I wanted to watch the movie that night... Just now.. I just completed my 10 community services.. luckily for icpu students we just need to complete 10 hour community service because as far as I concern, Ib students need to complete more than 100 hour.. haha... For this time, my friend and I went to to usj 2 mosque.. as usual, I want to do the easiest work that required the least consumption of energy...hahah...(I'm not that lazy).. And for the first time, I painted some part of the mosque's front wall and did some work ... and it ended up after zuhur prayer... To emphasize here.. all of us who did the community service were all not taking their bath yet on that time..hahah... (takut air rupenye)..

offer

A few days back, I got an offer from mcmaster university..... Well it's the second choice from my ouac list.. After all, I'm thankful for receive my 1st university offer.. So far, I still waiting for my 1st choice university. Hopefully, I'll receive the offer from that university shortly... Actually, mcmaster uni is also top engineering school in canada and I still considering on going there or not.. as most of my friends are thinking of going to mcmaster especially my roommate.

Mcmaster is special uni for me instead of uoft... for example all first year students undergo the same course or known as general engineering..if I'm not mistaken... Therefore, students can still make up their mind on which specialization they intend to do.. So far I intend to do the chem engine... but sometimes there are doubts in my mind whether to take chem or others.... but after a very long and depth thought in this issue.. I strengthen my mind to choose what I have applied... till next post

Icpu students dilemma

Well, casualty is subjective... That is the only thing I remembered during the eng4u class about the magic realism.. as far as I concern, everything happens in this world has its own reason on each person. If we go through something that will hurt us the most, there must be such reasons and messages underlying it.. So far, icpu students are getting busier to choose the best path for their life... sometimes they are so lucky as they pass all difficulties with flying colors.. the most obvious example are ielts and also osslt... Besides, maintaining the marks above 80 percent also the main concern for students.. As stated earlier, student who perform very well in the midterm and also in ielts test has vastly option to choose the university and others... Like what my friend told me before,, those students can demand more for better university.. In contrast, there are some unfortunate students who don't make it.. I mean do not pass the ielts and fulfill the requirement from the uni and also the sponsorship body, JPA... They don't have such great option to choose the best uni they want, indeed they only hope for uni's that doesn't require the english facilities.. But remember, it is not the end of the day, even though it is hard to accept there is still abundant of option left to improve everything... Most importantly, do not lost hope to the Creator.. (It is also an advise for me).. Last but not least i just want to share an inspiring picture with all of you..

Alhamdulillah..... ielts is over

Thanks to Allah All Mighty... as every hardworks I made since a few months back were all worthwhile... I just received my ielts result and score listening=8 reading=7 writing = 6.5 speaking=6.5. Although it seems to be not really good, but it is sufficient for the university requirements, as they require 6.5 and above. I can't challenge one of my housemate, BIOMAN who scored 8.0.. With quite impressive midterm (not so good actually) mark, I hope the universities that I applied to ,will' accept me.. please... now I'm thinking on how to send my ielts score to the universities..

........

After extremely fascinating and exciting holiday especially spending most of my time at Langkawi island, right now is the critical hour for me and my friends.
Well, a bit about my holiday, there is no other word than 'GREAT'. It is the best ever holiday I had gone through even though I was a bit tired during the long journey on the train. Besides, I didn't do any homework or read any book for ENG4 u project.

Till now there are still 4 days before the ielts result will be out.. What I feel right now? I also confuse and pretend to no nothing...just to hide my fear and nervous. Hope for good news soon on glorious Friday...

Going to tepeng

In order to fulfil the uni requirements that I applied, I need to go to my former school to certified my spm result.. So the journey begins.. Actually, I took the train directly from kl sntral to tepeng accompanied by my friend, Jemer James (no the real name) who need to do the same thing like me.. to certify spm result... It took approximately 6 hours from kl to tepeng, and it was truely exhausting journey... At last, we succeed arriving to our destination and after several occasions.. our mission accomplish.... another thing.. we also took the spm certificate together with the gceo certificate from the office.. the end

Chemistry Poster.. just for fun..

Well guys.. I just want to say sorry for some grammatical errors.. ( uses is the correct word instead of used) ..This is the result of the eleventh hour work.. Moral of the story, finish all your works once you have the free time.. do not delay or postpone any works....

unbelievable but true

Before this, I had never trust my self that I could finish reading the life of pi novel just within 2 days...actually the 2 days begin with the 51st chapter till 100th chapter.. It is like a world record for my self as I haven't read that much thick book before, 200+ pages... At last I realize that nothing is impossible as long as you put a great effort to something.. Through other lenses also..actually by hook or by crook I have to finish reading this adventurous book as it takes into account for my eng4u marks.. That's why .. sometime we need a stimulus or force to work hard..

Zambry ... my silver state MB..

Well different persons have their own perception about this case but after all as a perakian, it is the best decision.. Maybe my family has great influence of politics or what so ever, right now I just hope and pray for the best of our country. Let put aside the different political ideologies that sometime will only benefit one group of people and others are being neglected.

Let's thumb up for our victory

New sem begins...

Right now.. everybody is busy around filling up the uni application... and the most famous uni right now is uofa.. because tomorrow their uni representative will come here to get all of the documents..as usually our culture to wait until the critical time cannot be ceased out.. Last minute job is what we always tend to do.. Tomorrow also, JPA representatives will come to meet us.. probably they will talk about our 1st result and the what's going to happen next.. what I heard recently was that JPA requirements for this year is much more higher than last year, 85.. I hope that all my colleagues and also me should aware of this and just cannot waste their time in front of the tv or laptop.. just a reminder for myself

update...

I have been staying at home for about a month and next week, I'll start my new sem at Taylor's college.. Days seem to be so fast but it's better for me to not stay any longer at home because I'm bit bored.. nothing to do about academics except for the IELTS self study and also a bit revision on what I have learnt in chemistry before so that I'll be prepared to face new challenges afterwards... As you know, I have been used to the hectic and busy life at the college before.. During this long holiday, there is a lot of things happened such as I received my 1st sem exam result and it was quite impressive me and my family a lot as I managed to score all subjects 90 and above and my average is 92.6667.. After all, i still need much effort this year to maintain and improve my result.. Another thing is the submission of the OUAC application... I made up my mind to choose three universities and of course the best engineering school in Canada is my first choice.. UofT.. and others are mcmaster and queen.. hopefully, I'll be accepted to the UofT in chemical engineering course..
